High quality shrinkage of shrink sleeves is the most important issue of the whole process and requires professional selection of the machinery - electric, steam tunnels or infrared tunnels.
Electric tunnels are usually designed with hot air circulation system (hot temperature air up to 250° C inside the tunnel). They differ in length, power, type of heaters used, number of automatic temperature control areas etc.
Steam tunnels use heated (up to 90-95° C) steam. They also differ in length, number of cameras, number of automatic temperature control areas inside the tunnel.
Depending on the label inserting machine performance, the right length of the tunnels is selected.
Tunnels are equipped with temperature controllers, which can be adjusted to the necessary limits to ensure the required quality of label shrinkage depending on the size of the label, its thickness, and the shape and size of the product.
Mostly in all cases, the inserting / shrinkage line is produced according to customized specifications and can be supplemented with additional equipment:
- accumulator for non stop working
- rotary table for storing the containers after exiting the tunnel
- drying chamber for bottles after steam tunnel
- perforation device
